Description:

circXRN2 is up-regulated in colorectal cancer tissues/cells and promotes CRC cell proliferation, migration, invasion and in vivo metastasis while inhibiting apoptosis. Mechanistically, it sponges miR-149-5p to upregulate ENC1 and induce EMT-related protein changes, forming a circXRN2/miR-149-5p/ENC1/EMT axis. High circXRN2 expression is associated with poorer prognosis in CRC patients.
