High plasma LRP6 expression effectively distinguished potential GDM patients and was associated with foetal malformation and intrauterine death.
This clinical cohort study found that plasma circRNA LRP6 is up-regulated in women who developed GDM. High LRP6 levels before pregnancy could predict future GDM risk and were associated with foetal malformation and intrauterine death, but no disease-specific molecular mechanism was experimentally tested.
