circ_0000267 is up-regulated in HCC tissues and cell lines and its high expression is associated with larger tumor size, advanced TNM stage, and poor overall survival. Functionally, it promotes HCC cell proliferation, migration, invasion and metastatic properties while inhibiting apoptosis. Mechanistically, circ_0000267 acts as an oncogenic circRNA partly by sponging miR-646.
