hsa_circ_006100 is up-regulated in gastric cancer tissues and cell lines and acts as an oncogenic circRNA. It inhibits miR-195 and thereby derepresses the miR-195 target GPRC5A (with involvement of EGFR signaling), promoting proliferation and migration/invasion and enhancing EMT-related changes; knockdown suppresses xenograft tumour growth.
