GC patients with low circPRDM5 expression had poor prognoses when compared with those with high circPRDM5 expression; circPRDM5 had a high diagnostic value in distinguishing GC patients from healthy controls.

circPRDM5 is downregulated in gastric cancer and functions as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting proliferation, migration/invasion, and glycolysis. Mechanistically, it sponges miR-485-3p to upregulate GCNT4, and higher circPRDM5 expression is associated with better overall survival.
