| Description: |
circZNF609 is down-regulated during fibroblast activation and in silica-induced fibrotic lungs. Its overexpression suppresses fibroblast activation/proliferation and alleviates silica-induced pulmonary fibrosis. Mechanistically, it inhibits fibrosis through a miR-145-5p/KLF4 ceRNA axis and through translation into anti-fibrotic peptides, with m6A modification regulating its expression and export. |
