| Clinical significance: |
Downregulation is correlated with lymphatic metastasis and TNM stage; low circCRIM1 is an independent poor prognosis factor; higher circCRIM1 indicates longer overall survival. |
| Description: |
circCRIM1 is down-regulated in LUAC and suppresses LUAC cell migration, invasion, and metastasis. It predominantly localizes to the cytoplasm and acts as an Ago2-dependent miRNA sponge for miR-93 and miR-182, thereby relieving repression of LIFR. Clinically, low circCRIM1 associates with lymph node metastasis, higher TNM stage, and worse overall survival. |
