Expression pattern:
DN
Associated gene: -
Associated microRNA: miR-367
Biological function: Suppresses NSCLC cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, and promotes apoptosis.
Molecular mechanism: Acts as a sponge of oncogene miR-367 and negatively regulates miR-367 in NSCLC cells.
Biological pathway or process:

proliferation (inhibits); apoptosis (promotes); migration (inhibits); invasion (inhibits); ceRNA regulation (other)

Detected method:
Q
Validation methods:

RNase R Treatment; RT-qPCR; Transfection; CCK8; Annexin V/PI Flow Cytometry; Wound Healing Assay; Transwell Assay; Luciferase Reporter Assay; Bioinformatics Analysis

Clinical significance:

This study provides a new perspective on circRNA LARP4 as a therapeutic option for NSCLC.

Description:

circRNA LARP4 is downregulated in NSCLC cell lines compared with normal lung epithelial cells. Functional assays show that circRNA LARP4 suppresses NSCLC cell proliferation, migration, and invasion while promoting apoptosis. Mechanistically, it directly binds and negatively regulates miR-367, functioning as a miRNA sponge and a potential therapeutic target for NSCLC.

Confidence score:

0.6419
