Description:

circDDX17 is down-regulated in pituitary adenomas and acts as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting PA cell migration, invasion, and proliferation. Mechanistically, it sponges miR-1279 to de-repress CADM2, influencing invasion-associated proteins such as MMP2/9, and it suppresses xenograft tumor growth and invasion. Clinically, higher circDDX17 is associated with better PFS and shows diagnostic potential by ROC analysis.
