Description:

In a Tagln-CreERT2/tdTomato VSMC-lineage tracing mouse carotid injury model, FISH showed circEsyt2 upregulation in VSMCs of injured carotid arteries compared with sham controls. Functional experiments indicated that circEsyt2 promotes VSMC proliferation and migration and suppresses apoptosis and differentiation.
