In primary murine BMDM-derived tumor-associated macrophages, tumor exosomal cSERPINE2 was increased after exposure to cSERPINE2-overexpressing EO771-derived conditioned medium or exosomes, supporting macrophage internalization of tumor exosomal cSERPINE2. The study further links macrophage-internalized cSERPINE2 to MALT1/NF-κB activation and IL-6 secretion.
