Molecular mechanism: Circ_0091579 acted as a molecular sponge for hsa-miR-136-5p, and circ_0091579 silencing-mediated effects were largely overturned by the knockdown of hsa-miR-136-5p in HCC cells. hsa-miR-136-5p interacted with the 3 untranslated region (3UTR) of TRIM27, and TRIM27 overexpression largely counteracted hsa-miR-136-5p overexpression-induced influences in HCC cells. Circ_0091579 sponged hsa-miR-136-5p to up-regulate TRIM27 expression in HCC cells.
