Herein, UPF1 was predicted to have binding sites on both circLPAR1 and GDF-15 using starBase (version 3.0); therefore, we speculated that circLPAR1 might regulate the expression of GDF-15 through the interaction with UPF1, thus participating in AD pathogenesis.
