Biological function: Results of the qRT-PCR showed upregulation of has_circ_0001944 in the CRC samples compared to the normal samples. High has_circ_0001944 expression indicated shorter OS and RFS, comes down to poor prognosis. Multivariate regression analysis showed that elevated has_circ_0001944 increased the risk of death or recurrence and is a valuable prognostic factor. Following the has_circ_0001944 inhibition, the proliferation, migration and invasion of the CRC cells were reduced.
