We randomly verified three circRNAs (hsa_circRNA_400071, hsa_circRNA_000792 and hsa_circRNA_000543) with upregulated expression and three circRNAs (hsa_circRNA_001959, hsa_circRNA_400066 and hsa_circRNA_001066) with downregulated expression. There were significant differences in all of the selected circRNAs (P<0.05) with the exception of hsa_circRNA_000543. Differentially expressed circRNAs had corresponding miRNA binding sites. These circRNAs regulated the expression of target genes through interactions with miRNAs and might become new molecular biomarkers for gastric cancer (GC) in the future. |
